IHG Hotels & Resorts Delivers Immersive Brand Experience at Inaugural Annual Sales Showcase

IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's largest and leading hotel companies, concluded its largest sales event of the year, bringing together colleagues from over 60 hotels in the region, together with clients, partners and industry experts across two dynamic showcases in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Australasia & Pacific (AUPAC) Sales Showcase transformed InterContinental Sydney (24 June) and Crowne Plaza Melbourne (26 June) with nine interactive brand experiences, offering attendees hands-on encounters with IHG's diverse portfolio of brands and hotels.

Highlights included a pop-up Holiday Inn Express Kombi van serving the brand's signature free hot breakfast, an Alchemy Bar workshop hosted by wellness practitioner Michael Clarke emulating Six Senses' holistic wellness offering, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants' chic espresso and bar experience and voco's signature social lounge concept. Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with IHG's corporate responsibility efforts, including an interactive display narrating 'Journey to Tomorrow' and zero waste beverages from long-term partners, OzHarvest. 

The full-day programs featured market insights from industry experts including Joanne Cohen from STR and Kelly Maynard from Business Events Australia, alongside a dedicated Six Senses wellness session led by Michael Clarke, including a 30-minute breathwork workshop for session attendees.

Events were emceed by IHG Hotels & Resorts alumni Chris Waite, former Director of Corporate Affairs for IHG, who guided attendees throughout the day with giveaways and networking opportunities, including over 1.5 million IHG One Rewards points gifted to 37 lucky winners Throughout the showcases, six major prize winners were also awarded the ultimate stay experience including accommodation and flight vouchers.

The events reinforced IHG's commitment to supporting the Australasian hospitality sector through direct engagement and industry collaboration.
