Twin Creeks Eco Park 
The first stage of Twin Creeks Eco Park will debut mountain bike trails, with 35–40km of singletrack just over the hill from Airlie Beach. Additional exciting developments are planned for the following 12 months.

Ngaro Track – Opening May 2026
A 32km premium hike linking Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, featuring panoramic lookouts, mangrove walkways, rugged interior trails and bespoke overnight campsites.

Whitsundays Skyway Project
A new eco-tourism initiative will deliver visitors 430 metres above sea level via cable cars, offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Whitsunday islands. 

Lindeman Island
The island's revival is underway, with a new five-star eco-focused resort forming part of a $40–$50 million first phase in a broader $583 million master plan. The redevelopment includes new restaurants, bars, a solar farm and jetty upgrades.

Hook Island Eco Resort – Opening 2027
After more than a decade closed, Hook Island is preparing for a world-class eco-lodge featuring 39 biophilic cabins, wellness spaces, forest eco pools and low-impact luxury set against one of the region's wildest landscapes.
